Ah, those flights were so exhausting!

How the fuck is that that people can legitimately complain about their long plane trips and various layovers? When you are traveling, you are just sitting. You are not doing anything that is tiring, the whole point of a flight is that you should remain seated in one spot for hours! And the layovers! They do demand an extraordinary cognitive effort! I mean you have to get through gates and navigate among air conned corridors and read various info panels. And most of all, you have to fuckin walk! I mean some part of the way. Admit, that you rode the moving walkway! First time you saw it, you were like, naaah, I can walk! Jesus, they want us to stop walking, next thing they are gonna charge us for breathing air! The Big Questions in life

Have you ever found yourself stuck asking the same questions and not getting a clear, definite answer to them? The hard questions in life keep you up at night? I'm here to offer you a method to get out of these infinite loops of self-interrogation. 1. Pick out a few main things you do in life. Say, 3 or 4. 2. For each one ask the question: 'Why am I doing it?' 3. You will write down the answer. 4. You will ask again: Why? applying to your previous answer. You write the answer down. 5. You repeat that again. 6. By the third level, you should start to see the core cause of your daily actions. 7. By evaluating what core cause lead to those 'things you do in life', you will be able to better judge the value of those actions. Sometimes we find ourselves doing things just because we are used to doing them. Because the older version of ourselves had principles leading to those actions. If your grandparents had to be young again, would they like it? Maybe they don't just reject new things because they have a hard time adopting to them. Maybe they reject novelty because it is contrary to their core PRINCIPLES. Texting? -why don't you walk over and talk to her? Working out? -just go and chop some firrwood, son! Taking a vacation in Thailand? -get to know the county forest first! Metal is awesome! -where is the melody? and why growl? Social justice activism? - Church!
